Executive Assistant to Company Director
I have been at Now Rooms for over 3 years as Brett’s assistant. I found the role whilst seeking a company where I could utilise my PA and administration skills and take on a new challenge. The variety of the role appealed to me, and since joining I have worked alongside Brett on Marketing, Recruitment, Business Development, IT and many other aspects of the business. No two days are the same!
Favourite Song? Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and The Waves.
Favourite Film? Bridget Jones – always makes me laugh!
What’s the most memorable project you’ve worked on here, and why did it stand out to you?
Redesigning the company website is one that has been really enjoyable and satisfying – working with Brett and the Liiift team, it was great to see our ideas all come together to create a sleek and functional site, and a professional representation of our company.
What’s your go-to productivity hack that helps you stay on top of your work?
Lists! I love to have all tasks written down to refer back to and keep me organised, and it is so satisfying to tick items off at the end of a busy day and see what has been accomplished!
How do you like to unwind after a busy day at work?
Listening to music on the drive home to get out of work mode, and getting a big cuddle from my baby boy when I pick him up after a long day!
What’s one thing you wish people understood better about your job or department?
I’m always spinning plates in the background to help the business run smoothly and thinking about the needs of the team and clients. I have a passion for delivering good customer service and I love making an impact on processes and the staff, helping the business grow, and supporting our team to do their best in a happy working environment.
