Senior Property Management
I started with Now Rooms in August 2022 on the maintenance team. We have now developed the team into a Property Management team with an allocated portfolio or landlords / properties. I have 11 years experience in the Lettings industry and have completed most roles in that time.
Favourite film? Depends on my mood but I always watch the Harry Potter films around Christmas!
Fun Fact about yourself?
Despite only being 5’4 I played Semi Professional Netball when I was younger as a Shooter…that quite challenging when Goal Keepers and Goal Defense player are usually like 5’10 to 6 foot!
What’s a surprising skill or talent you have that your coworkers might not know about?
I’m sure some of my colleagues know but I Cross Stitch and Knit quite well!
What’s your go-to productivity hack that helps you stay on top of your work?
If I flag emails, it saves me writing notes about what the reminder is for and can be replied to without having to search for the email trail!
How do you like to unwind after a busy day at work?
I live to take the dog for a walk and then sit watch something on the TV like Dinner Ladies of The Royal Family whilst I eat my tea!
What’s one thing you wish people understood better about your job or department?
Maintenance issues can’t always be resolved on the day and the amount of legal tape and regulations there for lettings, particularly HMOs.
