I first joined Tick as a member of staff back in 2021 and left to gain more knowledge in the student property market. I recently came back to Tick as I missed the working environment and how well pinned down the processes were.
Fun Fact about yourself? – I have a degree in Computer Forensics.
What’s a surprising skill or talent you have that your coworkers might not know about? – I am fully qualified in nails and body waxing.
What’s your go-to productivity hack that helps you stay on top of your work? – Lists! I use a daily planner and once an email is sent I will give it a time frame for a response, and if there has been no response when I reach the end of that time frame I make sure to follow up.
How do you like to unwind after a busy day at work? – I go to the gym and sauna after work and before bed I read a chapter in my book.
What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received, and how has it influenced your work? – You're only as good as your team.
What’s one thing you wish people understood better about your job or department? – No two days are the same. You’ve always got to stay ahead of the game as new laws are implemented regularly.
