I started out my career with Adore by working in the Sweet Shop. I worked in the shop for around 2 years, before hearing about a job position within Tick. I confidently applied for the job role and was successful and I have now been with Tick for over 18 months. I absolutely love my job role; it can be challenging but also rewarding. I look forward to the years to come with Tick.

I am a qualified first aider.
What’s a surprising skill or talent you have that your coworkers might not know about?
I have a unprecedented knowledge of films, TV shows, and directors - mainly useless information but handy in a pub quiz.
What’s the most memorable project you’ve worked on here, and why did it stand out to you?
My most memorable project I have undertaken was a sales viewing; I had no previous experience in selling a property. I conducted the viewing and answered all questions with confidence which in turn helped sell the property.
What’s your go-to productivity hack that helps you stay on top of your work?
I would say keeping the end goal in mind, but caffeine also helps!
How do you like to unwind after a busy day at work?
I like to listen to music or watch some TV programs/films to unwind or take my dog out on a long walk.
What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received, and how has it influenced your work?
‘Always complete a job to the standard how you would like it’, this advice has stuck with me since I was a teenager, and I like to think I abide by this at all times.
What’s one thing you wish people understood better about your job or department?
I wish people could understand that there is a lot of back and forth with correspondence between ourselves, prospective tenants and with our landlords. As much as we would love to move people into properties straight away, there is a process that we need to follow.
